Physocarpus Opulifolius Center Glow

‘Center Glows’ unique foliage color and rugged disposition are the backbone of this superior shrub. The Spring leaves have centers of golden-green, orange, and copper tones, surrounded by dark red-purple, the hub changing into shades of red as Summer arrives. ‘Center Glow’ has a more compact growth habit than the species, but just as adaptable to various growing conditions. White flushed pink flowers arrive in late Spring and, exfoliating bark in the Winter, give this shrub all season interest.
Best color when planted in full sun.
Drought tolerant once established.
Pollinator friendly.
