‘Fargo’ Potentilla is an excellent introduction from North Dakota State University. It is relatively compact and has a profuse display of deep golden, 1″ flowers all season.
Many consider Potentilla the ultimate flowering shrub for northern gardens. It is hardy, tough and adaptable to almost all conditions, wet soils being it’s nemesis.
Full sun to partial shade with regular water.
Relatively wildlife and salt spray resistant once established.
