Vaccinium Corymbosum Darrow
‘Darrow’ Northern Highbush Blueberry produces some of the largest blueberries, maybe second only to ‘Chandler’. The fruit comes on late season and is very juicy and flavorful. High chill hour requirement. Berries are slightly flattened in shape and often shade a quarter.
For best fruiting, interplant with other Northern Highbush varieties such as ‘Elliot’ or ‘Jersey’.
Fall foliage is oranges & reds.
Full sun, acid soil, with regular water & fertility.
Very pollinator and wildlife friendly.
