Carex Elata 'Bowles Golden'

Discovered by horticulture writer E.A. Bowles in the wetlands of eastern England, this golden sedge has a thin green margin.  It thrives in moist to wet soils and shows best golden color in full sun.  Tolerates drier soils if given more shade, though foliage will be more uniformly lime green in the lower light.  Excellent selection for pond borders or containers with other moisture-loving plants. 3′ x 3′
