Epimedium x perralchicum Frohnleiten
This compact German hybrid features heart shaped foliage that is mottled red when young. Flowers are bright lemon yellow.
A ground cover for shade and woodland gardens. ‘Frohnleiten’ is a spreading cultivar (6-8″ per year) that is highly drought tolerant once established. Foliage remains evergreen from Zone 6 southward.
