This is the true Japanese Wasabi plant traditionally served alongside sushi.  Every part of this plant is edible, from the leaves to the stems to the rhizomes, with a distinctive pungent spiciness.

Japanese Wasabi has a reputation for difficulty in cultivation, but our strain, propagated via tissue culture, is growing vigorously under the same care regimen as our shade-loving ferns.
