Soft, light green, deciduous fern with fine textured fronds that taper at tip and and base. Native to eastern North America.
Best in part to full shade in moist, well drained, slightly acid soil rich in humus. Quickly multiplies in ideal conditions forming thick colonies. Deer resistant.
