Magnolia grandiflora Little Gem
Very compact southern magnolia, to 20′ in height. Large, glossy, evergreen green leaves with brown undersides provide year round interest with large, fragrant white blooms in spring and summer. This naturally dwarfing variety brings southern charm to smaller landscapes, and is well suited to growing as a hedge or espalier.
Grows best in full sun in moist, well draining soils. Can handle occasionally wet soil.
