Michelia Yunnanensis×Doltsopu Fairy Magnolia® 'White'
Large flowers, larger leaves, and earlier bloom time set this Evergreen Magnolia apart from the others in the Fairy Magnolia® line.
Pyramidal shaped medium sized evergreen shrub or tree. Normally a single trunk tree with lateral branches forming at acute angles to the trunk. With pruning, plants can be grown as large shrubs. Flowering begins late Winter to early Spring and lasts approximately 12 weeks. Profuse flowers are white, 5.5″ whorls of 9-13 overlapping petals with a noticeable, pleasant fragrance, opening from brown velvet buds.
Grow in any moist but well-drained soil in full sun or partial shade. Flowering may be reduced in partial shade.
