Rubus Thornless Boysenberry
‘Boysen’ is a thornless trailing blackberry with large, nearly seedless fruit. They have a soft texture and thin skins, but this is overlooked for their large size, and sweet-tart flavor. Best for fresh market.
This is the purported berry (in it’s thorny form) that made Knott’s Berry Farm famous.
Full sun, regular water, and good drainage for best fruit yield.
