This incredible purple raspberry has spine-free canes which are easy to manage. The growth habit is bushy and less vigorous than most red raspberries, which are ideal traits for the homeowner market. Best grouped or massed in a shrub border. The fruit has a lovely intense flavor that is enjoyed fresh or used for wines, sauces, and preserves.

Prefers well-drained, acid soil. Good in mounded rows or raised beds with wire supports.  Avoid waterlogged soils.
