Vitis Glenora

Vitis ‘Glenora’ is a seedless table grape cultivar known for its early ripening, typically maturing in late summer. The grapes are medium-sized, round, and have a deep blue to black skin with a sweet, mild flavor. The flesh is juicy and tender, making it ideal for fresh consumption.  Vines are vigorous and productive, exhibiting good disease resistance, particularly to common grape ailments like powdery mildew. They thrive in full sun and well-drained soils, making them suitable for a variety of climates. ‘Glenora’ is best suited to temperate regions of the United States, in USDA Hardiness Zones 5 through 8. This makes it a strong performer in areas such as the Northeast, Mid-Atlantic, Pacific Northwest, and parts of the Midwest and Southeast, where winters are moderately cold and summers are warm but not extreme.

This grape variety is often favored for its combination of flavor, seedlessness, and adaptability, contributing to its popularity in home gardens and small vineyards.
