‘Northland’ is a popular half-high variety that grows 3-4’ tall and a bit wider. Medium-sized, medium blue, sweet blueberries ripen early mid-season, around June. Summer foliage is an attractive medium green, turning shades of yellow-orange to red and purple in Fall. Reddish stems are showy in the Winter.
Fruit production is maximized when interplanted with another half high variety such as ‘Northcountry’.
Best in the full sun, in acidic soils, with regular water and fertility.
High chill hour requirement.
